What does it cost to use the PayrollRewards service?

You will pay American Express® a processing fee that is calculated as a percentage of your payroll that you pay using the PayrollRewards service. We recommend that you discuss your payroll timing and volumes with one of our sales associates to get more information about the processing fee that will apply to you. 

 

How many American Express Membership Rewards® points can I earn?

You can earn one American Express Membership Rewards point for every dollar of payroll that you pay using the PayrollRewards service. But you can't earn Membership Rewards points on your payroll transactions unless you have an American Express Card that is enrolled in the Membership Rewards program. Terms and conditions apply. Is PayrollRewards a payroll company?

No, we are not a payroll company. We offer a seamless way for business owners to manage their payroll programs.  For every dollar of payroll spending that is initiated through PayrollRewards you can earn American Express Membership Rewards Points on an American Express Card that is enrolled in the Membership Rewards program.  This allows you to extract greater value from your business. 

 

Do I need an American Express® Card to be enroll in the PayrollRewards service? 

No, you don’t have to have an American Express Card.  But you can’t earn Membership Rewards points on your payroll transactions unless you have an American Express Card that is enrolled in the Membership Rewards program.  You can apply for an American Express Card by calling (888) 473-5826 or by going online at www.americanexpress.com.

 

How do American Express Membership Reward points work?

Like many rewards programs American Express Rewards can be used to purchase items, gift cards, travel, hotel bookings and much more. Learn more here or www.americanexpress.com

 

What happens to Membership Rewards points if I cancel my American Express Card?

Any Membership Rewards Points earned through PayrollRewards transactions will be subject to the terms of the applicable American Express Membership Rewards program, including terms related to points forfeiture, cancellation and redemption options.
